Mountainlands Area Plan Rooms: Lowe's Home Imp WH’s Engineering & Construction Design Manager reports Robinson Construction Company Portland, OR they will be the General Contractor for the new Lowe’s in Clinton, UT. BTW, they used their iSqFt.com/MAPR Private Construction Office or PCO product to win yet another local project. Subcontractors; ASA presented awards
and recognitions at their annual banquet.
Named were R & O Construction of
Ogden, Stock Building Supply of Ogden
& MHTN Architects of Salt Lake City
received recognition as the General
Contractor, Subcontractor and Estimator’s
Choice Architectural Firms of the Year
respectively. Ahern Rents
of SLC received the Supplier of the Year
and the Estimator of the Year went to
Mike Luke of the Mountainlands Area Plan
Rooms for his service, training and
contributions to the chapter and industry.
Nominations occurred thru both the chapter
and entire MAPR network statewide. Kris Larsen CPE of SLC's Construction Control Corporation became a Certified Professional Estimator recently. Awarded by ASPE's National Certification Board and pear group's extensive testing, he joins only a handful in Utah earning that distinction so far. ASPE's CPE designation is recognized nationaly as the highest level of competency in that field. FEMA, GSA and many state agencies across the USA require the supervision or participation of a CPE in preparation of their bids. the American Society of Professional Estimators is beneficial to anyone interested in the cost of construction and in furthering the profession of prediciting those costs. |
